MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

I did not finish this book. I just couldn't. I got about halfway through and just had to stop.

The plot screamed Twilight. The first few chapters in, I noticed some similarities, but as the story continued so did the similarities.

Megan moves to Ireland and goes to a new school. She starts falling for a guy, Adam, who shows no interest in any of the other girls at school. There are all kinds of rumors about his family, etc.

Besides the plot, there are other things that just really annoyed me. Megan and Adam's insta love connection is not only unbelievable but also awkward. Adam reveals to Megan that he has been spying on her and she just accepts it, no questions asked. She didn't even freak out. I honestly don't see someone being that calm after finding out that they were being stalked, even if it was by someone who they had a crush on. And the lines that came out of Adam's mouth were SO cheesy I wanted to hurl. Just thinking about it makes me cringe.

The girl that is supposed to be Megan's friend is a hypocrite. She complains about how Megan is always staring at Adam, but acts the exact same way whenever her crush is around. She even drags Megan around so that she can watch him at his job (more stalking). They don't even seem like real friends, all they do is gossip. It seemed like the girl only stuck by Megan so she could find out what happened between her and Adam.

So, overall, very disappointing.
